Smartphones are
getting smarter
Our imagination is
getting shorter
Not saying it’s bad
So don’t feel sad
But the truth is…
The screen is blinking,
We have stopped
thinking!
Forgotten the way of speaking,

what we are seeking!

The book I have recently read is ‘Almost Single’ by Advaita Kala. I found this book at my friend’s place and I borrowed it from her. The book is incredibly engaging. I did not wish to put down the book for anything else. I loved her writing, comprehension and flow, for simple and positive reading….

The phone also destroys our skill in communicating especially when we’re too engrossed with the virtual world.
Yes, our basic communication with people around us has been lost to this virtual world. The total effect has been to allow us to connect more with the people in our virtual world, but at the same time, we communicate less with the people in our real world. Our real and virtual worlds certainly overlap, as many of our virtual friends are also our real friends. But the time and effort we put in our virtual world limits the time to connect and especially to communicate on a deeper level in our real world.
Indeed a 2-edged sword!
